OK, I installed GnuPG on my GNU/Linux and add permission settings. What's next?

There is an optional second step. It is to setup your serial number of OpenPGPcard and install a public key for firmware upgrade.

This second step assumes that you have the source code of Gnuk.

Please follow the instruction of serial number setup. Note that this is possible only once. You cannot change once serial number after you setup once.

Firmware upgrade is an experimental feature. It is documented at gnuk/doc/note/firmware-update in the source code. You can register keys of another token (of yours, or of your friend). In fact, you can register up to four keys for upgrade.
